After meeting each other at the beginning of their freshman year of high school, Jack and Shannon went to their first dance together during their sophomore year... as friends. Little did they know what God had in store for their future. From 2015 onward, they've remained best friends ever since.

Nearly 4 years and a blink of an eye later, Jesuit and Ursuline graduation weekend rolled around. What better time to start dating your best friend than high school graduation weekend, 3 months before shipping off to colleges 1,132 miles apart? Just two kids, no idea what they were doing, and how this would work, but thankfully God did.

Some say that 2020 was the worst year of all time, and while this still may remain true, Jack and Shannon's love for mini golf first originated during "Covid-Summer." Perhaps, 2020 wasn't ALL bad!

With Covid in full swing, Jack and Shannon spent as much time outside-- good thing lake houses are in the middle of nowhere and baseball is an outdoor sport! Heavily delayed due to Covid, Shannon was finally able to visit Jack during his Sophomore season at Xavier and watch him do what he loves.

Our favorite time of year! Jack and Shannon were back in Dallas, and school was on pause. This Christmas break, Jack and Shannon attended their first wedding with one another to celebrate The Campbell's, and traveled to New York to visit Ann Conway for their first trip together. Dance floors were crushed, Broadway was explored, and amazing memories were made.

With Jack in off-season from baseball, and Shannon recently graduated from UT Austin, there was nowhere else you would catch these two than cheering on their favorite football teams- The Texas Longhorns and The Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Though there is nothing else that Jack and Shannon love more than each other, college football comes in at a close second.

Hard to tell the difference between Jack and Shannon and Scottie and Meredith Scheffler, but believe it or not, the photo below is Jack and Shannon dressed up for Halloween. Also in 2024's off-season, Jack and Shannon went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean. Their hearts melted with love, just in time for what was coming next!

On the weekend celebration of St. Patrick's Day, the "Luck of the Irish" was in favor of the future Lynch's. Jack proposed on the two's newfound favorite holiday, and Shannon responded with the most joyous and easiest "Yes!" she's ever given. With the love, support, and community of their loved ones, Jack and Shannon celebrated the best day of their lives thus far with the their favorite people in the world. The countdown to November 14th, 2026 is now ON!
